What we collect
We do not take card or bank details on this website, and we ask you not to send us sensitive information — for example medical details — through these forms.
- Booking requests: your name, email address, optional phone number, the treatment you asked for, the date and time, and any notes you add.
- Enquiries: your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic you choose and the message you send.
- Chat: the text you type into the automated concierge is sent to an AI service to generate a reply. Do not include medical details or other sensitive personal information in chat.
- Technical information your browser sends to any website, such as the page you requested and your approximate location, held briefly in our hosting provider’s logs to keep the site online and secure.
Why we hold it, and our lawful basis
- To arrange and manage your appointment — necessary to take steps towards, or perform, a contract with you.
- To reply to your enquiry or website chat — our legitimate interest in running the salon and answering customers.
- Any health or safety information collected in person should be handled only where necessary, with an appropriate lawful basis and additional safeguards for special-category data.
- To remember your cookie choice — consent.
Who we share it with
Website and booking information is processed by third-party providers needed to host the website, deliver font files, store appointment and enquiry records, and provide the automated chat service. Chat messages are sent to an AI service to generate a response. These providers process information to supply those services. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How long we keep it
- Booking and enquiry records are retained only for as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable legal obligations, then securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have mistakes corrected, to have information erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive information you gave us in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to us first — we would rather put it right.
Children
Sunbed use is strictly 18 and over. The salon is also listed as family and child friendly for other services; a parent or guardian should make enquiries on behalf of a child and should not submit a child’s sensitive personal information through the website. The salon must confirm any age and consent requirements for individual services.
